
About the VC Readiness Programme
The VC Readiness Program is an intensive interactive 9-week learning experience, specially developed to prepare you for your Seed or Series A round.
During nine interactive sessions you will:
- build a convincing business proposition for investors
- explore investment options that suit your startup
- create a solid investment plan
- learn to approach investors successfully
- deliver a powerful, effective investor pitch
You will receive practical, personalised feedback from BOM Venture Developers and Investment Managers and valuable insights from experienced high-tech entrepreneurs Daan Kersten and Ilko Bosman of Include Industries. With their guidance, you will fine-tune your business plan and financial model together, and make your startup ready for successful funding.

- Registrations are now closed.
- Programme start: October 8, 2025
- Programme end: December 10, 2025
Participation is free.
The sessions take place on Wednesday 08, 22, 29 October, 05, 12, 19, 26 November and 03, 10 December at the BOM office in Tilburg.
There will be no session on Wednesday 15 October due to autumn break.

Purpose of the Programme
Our goal is to prepare entrepreneurs for raising venture capital and to ensure you are fully prepared when approaching investors.
At the end of the program, you will have:
- An improved strategy, financial plan, business plan, and investor deck
- Insight into which financing options best fit your growth ambitions
- The knowledge to close a VC investment deal
- Or the clear conclusion that VC funding is not the right path for your company – after which you confidently choose another direction.
Who is it for?
The VC Readiness Program is specifically designed for Dutch startups that:
- Have already raised pre-seed funding
- Want to raise a Seed or Series A round
- Are impact-driven and have the ambition to scale quickly
Participation requirements
Your startup must meet the following criteria:
- Have a pitch deck ready
- Have an MVP or pilot customer
- Require at least €1,000,000 in financing (depending on your sector)
- Have at least two founders
- Have already raised some funding (e.g., convertible loans or grants)
