We know Frits as a driven, talented, and exceptionally warm colleague. Someone who passionately talks about his sailing holidays in Zeeland, his love for classical music, and his wonderful family. With feeling and that typical touch of absurd Frits humor.
He showed the same enthusiasm as a colleague. In April, Frits would have been with BOM for ten years. He began his career in 2016 with Internationalisation and then transitioned to Ecosystem Development as a program manager HTSM. In recent years, he was partially seconded to Brainport Industries at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC), where he worked on various innovation projects, also within NXTGEN Hightech.
Frits was involved, driven, and knowledgeable. With these qualities, he built a large and trusted network. It made him appreciated and beloved. The passing of Frits is an unprecedented loss for BOM, Brabant, and even far beyond. We wish Carolien, Juliëtte, and Hugo, family, friends, befriended colleagues, and connections strength in coping with this great loss.
